Carlota Maximiliana de Escandón y Barrón, Duquesa de Montellano

A brief genealogical sketch can be found here. Her parents were sympathetic to the imperial cause in Mexico!

His mother, María Pilar Osorio y Gutierrez de los Rios, 3ª duquesa de Fernán Nuñez, can be seen here.

This was posted in a Foro Dinastias thread about Queen Victoria Eugenia's Ladies-in-Waiting in 1931, when the monarchy was replaced by a Republic. This is not a 1931 photo. Blouson bodices and close skirts like this one were long out of fashion. I believe this photo dates to the early 1900s. I cannot resolve the pale object draped diagonally across her bodice.
