Lady Elizabeth Howard was born on 13 November 1780. She married John Henry Manners, 5th Duke of Rutland, son of Charles Manners, 4th Duke of Rutland and Lady Mary Isabella Somerset, on 22 April 1799. She died on 29 November 1825 at age 45.
She was the daughter of Frederick Howard, 5th Earl of Carlisle and Lady Margaret Caroline Leveson-Gower. Her married name became Manners.
