The Empire style makes a last stand with a slight A-line skirt replacing the the olumnar skirts of earlier decades. She wears dual sleeves with the outside sleeves made of the sheerest material. The next layer of sleeves are notched and come from her bodice. Her inner-most sleeves appear to be part of her chemise.
