Princess Alexandra also called Empress Eugénie by Princess Royal Victoria (location unknown to gogm)

Queen Victoria's oldest daughter, Princess Royal Victoria who was a talented artist, painted this portrait. Katyusha comments that this is Princess Alexandra of Wales (I initially found this on a German site as Empress Eugénie). Her eyebrows are Alexandra's (see Eugenie's eyebrows here) and you can see why Alexandra didn't pose for full profile portraits - she has an impressive beak. This image will be transferred to a Queen Alexandra album when that is created.

The bodice and sleeves are very atypical of the 1860s! The waistline is also not typical for the first half of the 1860s.

Keywords:  Princess Royal Victoria as artist, Queen Alexandra, Glucksberg family, Hanover family, Queen, long straight coiffure, floral headdress, off shoulder straight neckline, modesty piece, criss-cross bodice, natural waistline, elbow length puffed sleeves
