From Wikimedia; spots in background and at the apex of Varvara's coiffure removed with Photoshop by gogm. Removing all spots from the top of Varvara's coiffure is proved impractical.

Both Ladies' dresses are extremely simple in this 1802 Borovikovsky portrait. Anna's dress has sleeves tacked to the simple column of her dress while the criss-cross bodice of Varvara's dress shows putting it on was a task that took minutes, if not seconds.
