Amélia de Leuchtenberg by Franz Xaver Winterhalter (Museu da Casa Brasileira - São Paulo Brazil)

Dating this image is difficult. Amélia wears a pre cage crinoline dress and a hurluberlu coiffure and looks to be in her 30s, placing this in the early 1840s. This portrait is not listed in Eugene Barilo von Reisberg's listing that dates as far back as 1836.

From Wikimedia.

Amélia's sleeves are complex, visually divided into four parts in an elbow length sleeve, are not puffed at the top, and end in engageantes further supporting an early 1840s date. She carries a fur that she drapes over one arm and carries in the other hand (visible only if substantial lightness is added to the image). Something covers her visible arm, possibly a short glove, a sleeve extension, or part of a lace wrap.
