Lady, probably Alice Spencer, Countess of Derby by circle of Marcus Gheeraerts the Younger (auctioned by Sotheby's)

Lady Alice was born in Althorpe, Northamptonshire, where Lady Diana Spencer is now interred. Lady Alice married twice, first to Ferdinando Stanley between 1579 to 1594 when he died, and then Thomas Egerton, from 1600 to 1617 when he died. She lived until 1637.

Lady Alice wears an arrowhead-like tabbed bodice and a framing lace headdress in this Gheeraerts the Younger portrait. The use of complex textile patterns of contrasting colors is of interest. So is the brooch clipped to the sleeve opening to the left of the image.
