This woman wears a dress with a square neckline and separate sleeves attached by knoted threads, Tufts of white material emerge between the knotted threads. Puffs of cloth emerging from where sleeves join bodices would be prominent features of dress for a century. She wears a net caul with at least one lappet tacked to the rim of the caul and a ponytail contained by a continuation of the caul.
