Charlotte of Prussia by Ciolina

Posted on Foro Dinastias by Katyusha on 5 September 2010; sepia tone removed by gogm.

The leg-o-mutton sleeves of Charlotte's dress date this photo to the mid 1890s; the sleeves have large pouches on top. Her jacket, with two facing triangular panels attached with one clasp at middle bodice over her chemisette was sometimes seen in dresses of that period, such as that of Princess Eulalia. The waistline is marked with a waist band dating this to after 1895.
