Marie Caroline wearing a bustle dress

Marie Caroline wearing a bustle dress Fromé-visitar/Casa-de-Battenberg_vi202870

Marie Caroline’s dress has a bustle and a trimmer line than dresses from the first bustle era so it may date to about 1880. There is a shadow suggesting she wears a cuirasse bodice. The bodice has a stomacher panel, possibly lace.
