Gisela of Austria portrait by Friedrich August von Kaulbach (private collection)

Wikipedia has a black and white version of this that they date to 1885. In the postings on the Alexander Palace Time Machine Discussion Forums, the date was estimated to be 1883; the small size of her bustle supports the 1883 date.

Kaulbach makes Gisela look gaunt in this 1880s portrait that shows she liked to wear frilly neck ornaments and still has her bangs and curly bun. A great deal of detail is lost in the dark areas; strong brightening shows the tablier may have been swagged.
