The artist took the opportunity to show off Alexandra's gorgeous figure in this print where the train and bustle of her dress are pulled around to her front. Both her dress and the dress of her customer have trains that begin at about knee height and extend back. Both wear trim hats strapped to their heads, neck scarves, and long tight cuffed sleeves. Princess Alexandra's customer wears a dress with a small, but visible, bustle.
