Lady Octavia Grosvenor was born circa 1832. She was the daughter of Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Marquess of Westminster and Lady Elizabeth Mary Leveson-Gower. She married Colonel Sir Michael Robert Shaw-Stewart, 7th Bt., son of Sir Michael Shaw-Stewart, 6th Bt. and Eliza Mary Farquhar, on 28 December 1852. She died on 29 May 1921.

Her married name became Shaw-Stewart.
