Queen Wilhelmina wears a dress made of luxurious material, but with a high neckline and long sleeves like a day dress. Her over-bodice has a nadir at its mid-point, rises to just before the shoulders and appears to continue on the sleeves (the loss of mobility suggests something else happened such as the over bodice being cut out to allow the arms to pass through it). The sleeve would have had matching satin stitched to it, the satin reaching an apex at the arm pit.
