The only things I can find out about her is that she was the daughter of Françoise d'Orléans and Prince Robert, Duke of Chartres, she was born in 1869, and she married Marie-Armand-Patrice de MacMahon, Duke of Magenta, in 1896. Mac-Mahon's father was presumably the General who won the Battle of Magenta and was created Duke of Magenta in honor of that 1859 victory. He was indecisive in the Franco-Prussian War and led the bloody suppression of the Paris Commune. He tried to reinstate a monarchy in 1877. One outcome was that the French crown jewels were, with few exceptions, auctioned in 1885 to forestall the installation of another monarchy as MacMahon had tried to do in 1877. That Duke of Magenta died in 1893.
