While some Ladies, notably Elisabeth von Wied and Queens Wilhelmina and Emma wears leg-o-mutton sleeves, the others wear the replacement spyglass sleeves that still emphasize the upper arm and shoulder. Many bodices have triangular or semicircular middle sections while the shallow vee waistline is universally worn, as are A-line skirts. Most Ladies wear feathered hats. This photo shows the essentially infinite variations are possible on a theme.
