Hats are small and Swiss belts are in in 1892. The woman to the left wears a Swiss belt and the woman leaning forward on the nearest coach also may be wearing one. The bodices worn by two riders of the closest carriage have triangular features. High enclosing necklines worthy of Isabel Clara Eugenia are also in as are leg-o-mutton sleeves, except on horseback. A woman on the right wears an evening dress-like outfit with a lace bertha and a partlet section for daytime modesty. The abundant male facial hair of the 1880s has been reduced to mustaches and goatees.
