1892 Lady Simpson by Valentine Cameron Prinsep (Glasgow Museums - Glasgow UK) bbc.co lightened

This portrait shows the leg-o-mutton sleeve tide is ebbing, but waist bands, shallow vee waistlines, and blouson bodices are not yet in style. Her bodice appears to have four layers beginning with her chemise/under-bodice, a pink bodice, a somewhat disorganized-looking vest/over-bodice, and a pastel green green train and outer layer to her bodice layer.
