La Marquise de Ariza by Augustin Estève (location unknown to gogm)

The Marquise María Francisca de Sales-Portocarrero had a son, Cipriano, who had a daughter named Eugenia. A genealogical sketch of this condesa de Montijo can be found here. Her title entering the marriage was 6th Countess of Montijo, his was 7th Marquis de Ariza. She lived from 1739 to 1790.

French style was adapted when it went south to where panniers came from. The Marquise wears a round gown with a sheath dress waist band and almost spray-on tight sleeves.
