Une dame de qualité - Epoque Régence by ? (Galerie Pellat de Villedon - Versailles France)

From proantic, com; spots and veiling reflection at the top of the image removed with Photoshop and image made lighter by gogm. The veiling reflections were worst at the top so details of the sitter's coiffure were lost.

This un-named sitter wears a dress that probably has a split bodice under robes in this portrait dated to the regency of Louis XV (1750-1721). She wears a high coiffure with fripon curls.

Keywords:  high curly coiffure, vee neckline, modesty piece, lace, virago sleeves, robes, jeweled bodice, brooch
