Marie-Josephine, shown here, became Comtesse de Provence and then, during the Boubon restoration following Napoleon, could have become the sitting Queen Consort of Louis XVIII if she had not passed in 1810. Her Wikipedia article is here. Her personal hygiene was almost non-existent while her husband was grossly obese. Not what was needed to create a functioning monarchy after all of the revolutionary and Napoleonic wars and struggles.
