ca. 1739 Elisabeth Christine von Braunschweig-Bevern by Antoine Pesne (Stiftung Preußische Schlösser und Gärten - Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany) UPGRADE Wm

Elisabeth Christine’s dress appears to be an "open robe" with stomacher matching under-skirt in this Pesne from around 1739. She wears a lace modesty piece and engageantes. Sleeves are now tight, puffed sleeves are out. Her hair is presumably powdered - she was about 24 when this was painted.
