Charlotte-Aglaé d'Orléans, duchesse de Modène (1700-1761) - en Hébé by Pierre Gobert (Versailles)

I thought this was a Nattier work, with the sitter in a mythological role posing in a white dress, but it is by Pierre Gobert.

Charlotte Aglaé wears a simple white dress with a low neckline and full sleeves, notched and fastened with clasps.

Keywords:  Gobert, Charlotte Aglaé d'Orléans, Orléans family, Este family, French, long straight coiffure, floral headdress, scoop décolletage, elbow length full notched sleeves, floral bodice ornament, clasps, wrap, theatrical dress
