Lady Elizabeth Russell (1704–1784), Second Wife of William Capel, 3rd Earl of Essex by Andrea Soldi (Watford Museum Collection of Fine Art - Wotford, Hertfordshire UK)

According to her article in thepeerage, she was William Capel's second wife who bore four children including William Capel's first son and future Earl. She married in 1726, following Jane Hyde.


Lady Elizabeth Russel's bodice appears to be bursting at the closure. Her dress has very full over-sleeves with notched cuffs over a set of full under-sleeves.
