Kaiserin Maria Amalia of Austria by ? (location unknown to gogm)

Usually Wittelsbachs married Habsburg Emperors, but the Holy Roman Empire was briefly ruled by Charles VII, a Wittelsbach who was her husband. She bore Maria Antonia Walpurgis, Theresa Benedikta, Maria Anna Josepha, and Maria Josepha. Her Wikipedia article is here.

Maria Amalia's dress is more in keeping with the 1600s than 1700s, particularly in the sleeves and cuffs. The modified criss-cross bodice is highlighted with spectacular pearl and diamond jewels. If this portrait dates from about the time of her marriage in 1722, then it is an early appearance for powdered hair.
