ca. 1745 Portrait of Nancy Fortescue, wearing a dark blue riding habit, with gold frogging and cap by Thomas Hudson (Yale Center for British Art - Yale University, New Havem, Connecticut USA)

I cannot locate anything about this member of the Fontescue family.

From the collection's Web site; image made lighter by gogm.

Nancy Fontescue is ready to gallop after whatever in her blue and gold military-themed jacket over a white blouse or chemisette with a high enclosing neckline, both decorated with ruffles. She wears what future Americans would call a baseball cap over what must be powdered hair.
