"1785" Amalia z Bruehlow Mniszchowa by D. Canego (location unknown to gogm)

According to the English translation of her Polish Wikipedia article, that has this image, Amalia Mniszchów was involved in a plot to assassinate her future son-in-law (Szczesny Potocki's) first wife with Potocki family assistance. He than married Amalia's daughter Józefina Amalia. her education was overseen by Maria Josepha of Austria.

The original portrait of this image does not date to 1785. Amalia was born in 1736 and married in 1750 when coiffures were short. She died in 1772.
