1774 Le Bal Paré by Antoine Jean Duclos (French, Paris, 1742–1795) Etching after Augustin de Saint-Aubin (Metropolitan Museum of Art - New York City, New York USA) wide view

There are several figures of interest in this print. The Lady to the left is wearing a fur-trimmed hooded jacket, a hoodie. The Lady on the left being twirled has her sacque tucked in at the bottom of her bodice. The two dancing Ladies to her right appear to be wearing polonaise dresses. The closest person to the viewer, in the group to the right, appears to be a man wearing his hair long. The Lady to the right is wearing a robe à la française.
