Madame de La Fayette, probably Marie Catherine de Suat, dame de Chavaniac by ? (location ?)

Her genealogical sketch is here. She was wed in 1708. Her second son, Marie Joseph Paul Roch Gilbert Motier de La Fayette, is famous for serving with the American revolutionary forces. He married Marie Adrienne Françoise de Noailles.

It looks like Mme. de La Fayette’s fripon curls have been turned into something like a dog bone using windings of fine thread.
