Isabelle d'Orléans

I have seen this labelled Françoise d’Orléans and Isabelle d’Orléans, but Françoise was considerably older than this sitter by the 1890s.

From the lost gallery's Photostream on flickr; spots removed with Photoshop by extensively altering the background and the original monocolor tint removed. Also posted to Isabelle d’Orléans, duchesse de Guise’s Subalbum here.

Isabelle's head rises like a mushroom (minus the hat) above a textured base from the peak formed by her shoulders framed by her expansive sleeves. Her bodice is adorned with a center panel framed by lace rufflesShe is wearing something like fripon curls on her forehead.
