Erzherzogin Maria Elisabeth by ? (Stift Wilten - Innsbruck Austria)
I didn't claim to be an art restorer until this. The original has peeled paint in the background and also on her skirt and, especially, the engageantes on the sleeve to the right of the image at the elbow area. Her free hand was also peeling as was the dog and the area of her upper bodice and adjacent engageantes to the left of her Sévigné bodice ornament. The original is here.
Maria Elisabeth wears a remarkably simple dress for a court dress, adorned with a Sévigné bodice ornament, in this portrait.
