The museum’s notes include this, "Black silk chiffon blouse with a wrap effect bodice, lined with white chiffon and with an interior chemise lining in white broderie anglaise and lace that shows through the sheer chiffon layers. Lined in white silk. Bunch of violet artificial flowers decorate the bosom. Long shirred sleeves with openwork down the outsides and ruffles at the wrists. Label at waistband.” Also "Worn by Miss Heather Firbank."

Heather Firbank has to be very alluring wearing this filmy over-blouse above a lace under-blouse.
