The caption for this photo is translated by Google as, "The Countess Greffulhe shown herself to be faithful to certain dressmakers. This elegant day dress, mixing muted colors she liked - especially the old rose - testifies to her taste for the house of Soinard. This establishment, forgotten nowadays, had been the main supplier of her trousseau, of which an invoice, dated November 1878, is kept in the Greffulhe files at the Archives nationales.”
