1652 (after) Giulia Arese Borromeo (1636-1704) sposò Renato II Borromeo by ? (Palazzo Borromeo - Isola Bella sui Lago Maggiore, Streso, Piemonte, Italy)

Her genealogical sketch is here. She was the daughter of one powerful family who married into another powerful family. The portrait is at the Borromeo palace on the shores of Lago Maggiore on Isola Bella offshore from Streso.

From Pinterest search; fixed about the middle fifth of the left edge with Photoshop and enlarged one quarter. Also posted to the “Casual” Dress - 1641 to 1683 Album here.

This shows Italian style closely following Spanish style with the horizontally expanded skirt with and the bow-brooch with a draped jewel ornament. The sheer bertha resembles a wet tee shirt. The neckline is marked by dark round ornaments and, above them, probably a band of white material forming the vestigial ruff of a saya.
