She was the Last Spanish Vicerine of Portugal, assuming the title and moving to Portugal in 1634. Hostile crowds surrounded her location in Lisbon in 1640 , but the new ruler, the Duke of Bragança, allowed her to leave. She is the Great-Great-Great-Great Grandmother of Marie Antoinette.
