From the Sotheby's Web site; several medium-sized flaws were removed with Photoshop by gogm. The large altered area around her head was not created by those changes.

Lady Charlotte's dress has an opened criss-cross bodice that reveals her chemise. Her sleeves have cuffs that would be in style through the first half of the 1700s.
