Badminton by Nicolas Arnoult

It is reasonable to believe this could be a satire piece, but I do not have sufficient knowledge to decide.

This shows mantuas and Fontanges and lappets being worn for physical activity - playing badminton. The bottoms of the bodices are made of diffenet material than the rest formed into a shape similar to the tip of a snow ski. The male figure is similarly over-dressed.
