Dorothy Dycer was born in 1668. She married, firstly, Eliab Harvey, son of Eliab Harvey and Dorothy Whitmore. She married, secondly, William Harvey, son of Eliab Harvey and Dorothy Whitmore, in 1681. She died on 28 June 1711.

She was the daughter of Sir Robert Dycer, 2nd Bt. and Judith Gulston. From 1681, her married name became Harvey.

Lady Dorothy wears a dress with cuffed sleeves and a split bodice clasped with a single pearl in this Kneller portrait that could be from about 1705.
