1675-1700 Mademoiselle de Roquelaure by Pierre Mignard (Bolton Museum - Bolton, Lancashire UK)

This magnificently dressed Lady is probably not Françoise (1683-1740, married 1709) and certainly not Élisabeth (1698-1752, married 1714) de Roquelaure unless the dates supplied by the Bolton Museum are off.

The sitter has rudimentary forehead curls and long, curly hair suited to the late Louis XIV turn-of-the-century era and her dress has an over-bodice secured with clasps.
