Princess Louisa of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg married her kinsman Duke Ernst III of Saxe-Coburg Gotha in 1817 in an unsuccessful marriage. They had two sons, Ernst, who married Alexandrine of Baden and Albert, who married Victoria of Britain. Princess Louisa's Wikipedia article is here.

This portrait was painted in 1847, but it shows earlier dress. Princess Louisa married in 1817. While very little of her dress is shown, the jewelry is spectacular.
