1828 Amalie Zephyrine von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen, née Salm-Kyrburg by Auguste François Laby (location unknown to gogm)

From Wikipedia. Photo - Andreas Praefcke.

Stern looking Amalie Zephyrine's face peeks out of a heart-shaped lace hood, a combination of bonnet and cape, over a double-sleeves dress in this 1828 Laby portrait. Her hood rests on two shoulder wings. Her dress has a high vee neckline and, par for the era, dual high-puffed sleeves and a waistband setting off a modestly high waistline. Detail-enhancement brings out her belt and shows she wears a criss-cross bodice.
