1867 Sisi in Hungarian court dress by ? (location unknown to gogm)

Previous

This 1867 portrait commemorating the coronation of Sisi as Queen of Hungary is one of the most well-known images of her. Georg Raab is credited with an oval portrait that is basically the head and bodice from this image. The painter may also have had Emil Rabending's photograph to help or based this portrait on that photograph, maybe plus ideas from Bertalan's painting (next image). There are many knock offs of some of the original portraits of her.

The laced vest bodice is part of Hungarian costume. She took being the Queen of Hungary very seriously, endearing her to the Hungarian people.
