Many of the details of Mme. Mc Mahon's dress are lost in the light-colored bodice or covered by her lace wrap. the skirt and fairly narrow sleeves lead me to believe this photo dates to the middle 1860s, perhaps shortly before Levitsky left Paris in 1864. Her over-skirt features four flounces.
