The del Drago family pops out of the mists of paleohistory in the early 1800s in thepeerage. This portrait says there were people, probably aristocracy, by that name alive over a century earlier. I saw this labelled as Hortense Macini who certainly got around, but I could not tie her to a del Drago or Biscia del Drago person.
