ca. 1650 Élisabeth de Bourbon, Duchess of Nemours by Balthasar Moncornet (location unknown to gogm)

Her grandmother was Gabrielle d'Estrées. Through her daughter Marie Jeanne de Savoie, she was grandmother of Vittorio Amadeo II and, through him, great grandmother of Marie Adélaïde de Savoie, through whom the French royalty from Louis XV on were descended, Maria Luisa de Savoia, through whom the Borbón Kings of Spain are descended, and Charles Emmanuele, through whom the Italian royal family arose. Her Wikipedia article is here.

From Wikimedia.

Moncornet's print treats the lace of Élisabeth's moesty piece as a repeating pattern. Her neckline appears to be be bordered by the modesty piece, then a sheer panel, and then by a bertha of unpatterned cloth bound by pearls. The center of her bodice is adorned with a ladder-like set of pearl ropes and faceted jewels.
